Seat swap completed.
Recaro CS Sportster with pretty much all BMW functionality. i.e. passenger sensor, side airbags, seat belt pre-tensioners, etc. What a difference to the standard seats. On track I had to consciously brace myself in the corners, now no such effort required. Carbon driveshaft and Alcon brake upgrades in progress. |

I'd love to see some more pics of the interior from a bit further distance if you happen to take them.

Also how are you tying it down? Surely it isn't going to just hang around in the back unsecured. |

I got a pair of heavy duty 3/4” x 8’ Velcro
tie down straps and X-crossed them over my compact spare and through the tie down holders at the 4 corners of the trunk. Works very well, even in a convertible’s trunk. |

I've shown this before. The minispare allows itself to be strapped down easily, while allowing enough space for a piece of luggage on top. Of course, since I've had it (5+ years), I have never needed it.

Thanks! There are some good benefits to 17s.(weight, price, more sidewall) 5mm spacer in the front just to clear strut and h&r springs for now.

I've got 18*8 et40 245/35/18 and it's rubbing where the bumper meets the fender. I'm on LCAs and Dinan Springs with fenders rolled. |
