Had all my stuff sitting around for a month, finally got around to trying this out. Got the following done successfully in about 30 minutes. Next time will take me about 5 minutes. heh
  • Temporary blinker changed from 3 blinks to 5
  • Tire temp and PSI on TPMS display
  • Add speedometer to digital instrument cluster
  • Change bootup screen from BMW Connected to BMW M
  • DVD in motion
  • Seat belt reminder now only beeps twice

To do later after letting these sink in, forgot to add it this time:
  • LED's on door handle turn on while backing up

Want to find out how to do, if you know how, please post here or PM me:
  • Set side mirrors to fold in when car turned off, fold out when turned on
  • Possible to change sensitivity on automatic windshield wiper sensor? I'd like it to be more sensitive.

Side mirrors fold/unfold using keyfob
Allow keyfob to roll up windows
Remove iDrive disclaimer
Change iDrive splash screen to //M logo
Remove DVD lock screen while driving
Add weatherband to Radio
Add ambient lighting slider to iDrive
Enable exterior mirror lights when in reverse
Change backup camera duration when put into forward drive
Add water and oil temps to BC display

Gotcha on that last one
What's the module you used for
"Side mirrors fold/unfold using keyfob
Allow keyfob to roll up windows" ?

I can't find CAS module in the ECU's list

Same for the "Change backup camera duration when put into forward drive"
Can't find PMA module in the ECU's list

Thanks!

Edited: Nevermind.... modules were actually FEMBODY and REM

Any idea if people with run flat tires limited to 130mph can adjust their top speed to the PSS equipped cars?

This is a HUGE annoyance in my 135. I can't wait to do that when I get an M2.

(disclaimer: Yes, I wear seat belts, but in parking lots, a 1.2 mile long driveway, or placing heavy things in the front seat, it gets annoying)

INSTALL E-SYS EST PATCH & TOKEN (NOT INCLUDED)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
03) To use E-Sys, you must have a Token solution. There are two kinds of token solutions, "patchless" and "patched".
PATCHLESS TOKEN SOLUTION:
The "patchless" token solution exclusively from TokenMaster includes a custom .jar file and an .EST Token file. This token solution will work, so far, with any
version of E-Sys (3.22.x, 3.23.x, 3.24.x). This token solution though can ONLY use matching .EST Token file from TokenMaster, and is NOT interchangeable
with .EST Token files developed for the "patched" version.
Contact TokenMaster for "patchless" Token Solution:
*************************
Installation typically involves:
A1) Copying a custom .jar file to the following folder:
C:\EC-Apps\ESG\E-Sys\lib
A2) Editing C:\EC-Apps\ESG\E-Sys\E-Sys.bat file and adding a line to reference above custom .jar file.
A3) Setting E-Sys => Options => Settings => EST tab => EST: to point to your .EST Token file (e.g. "C:\Data\EST\My-EST.est").
PATCHED TOKEN SOLUTION:
The "patched" token solution from akiss and others includes two patched E-Sys system .jar files and an .EST Token file. While the .EST Token itself, so long as it
has current validity, can be used with any "patched" E-Sys version, the two patched .jar files themselves are E-Sys version specific, and can ONLY be used with
the specific E-Sys version they were developed for. If you change E-Sys versions, then you MUST get updated patch files specific to the new version of E-Sys
you are using. Generally speaking, .EST Token files used with a properly patched E-Sys version are interchangeable.
Contact akiss for "patched" Token Solution:
bmwesys@yahoo.com
Installation typically involves:
B1) Replacing two E-Sys sytem .jar files with patched versions in the following folders:
C:\EC-Apps\ESG\E-Sys\lib\PsdZ\
C:\EC-Apps\ESG\E-Sys\lib\estcm\
B2) Setting E-Sys => Options => Settings => EST tab => EST: to point to your .EST Token file (e.g. "C:\Data\EST\My-EST.est").
*NOTE: E-SYS TOKEN SOLUTION IS NOT INCLUDED AND MUST BE OBTAINED SEPERATELY.
*NOTE: ABOVE INSTALLATION IS A GUIDELINE ONLY. USE ACTUAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED FROM TOKEN SOLUTION PROVIDER.
*NOTE: Both "patchless" and "patched" Token Solutions work equally well, are comparably priced (approximately $50-$70 USD), and one is NOT
recommended over the other. Choose one based on your level of comfort with the above installation requirements and/or provider's
pricing.
Which option did you use to obtain a token? I ordered a cable today - should be here by this weekend. I have e-sys software installed - 3.24.3. Just need to get the token ready and I should be good to go as soon as my cable gets here.

Well I got my cable and was able to code my car. Turned on digital speed on BC - MPH. Also enabled tire temperature with tire pressure and of course disabled all seat belt reminders and alarms. More to come.

I got mine coded but doesn't come up every time, it skips and goes straight to the last screen the car was left on...

Some of them on the F10 M5 have been able to do that.
Try to turn the ignition on with the driver door rolled down a bit.... was told that it will always come on but haven't tried it yet....

Looks like some really great coding going on here! I'm due to collect my M235i soon, and I've got an ENET cable on its way to me, and a full version of E-Sys 3.25.3 (with token, pin and PSdZData 52.1) ready, so looking forward to having a go myself!

The main change I'm looking to make is enabling Enhanced Bluetooth (6NS) with my Pro-Nav (ZNP). Can anyone shed any light on this? Very keen to know a little more to get me started!
