The cover just pops off. Then there i a module below which you have to work out and pull on a little (SEE STEP 2 & 3).. but as mentioned to another member, be careful not to bend the actual headliner as it may stretch.

Thanks! I got it off today and inspected...I have wires to the mirror and the dome lights but no hex bolts to ground it to. I'll have to keep search for alternatives I guess!

Strange, one would think there would be some bolts up there somewhere. Good luck with the search

Did you use the ground via T-Tap in the mirror housing as well? I'm contemplating if I need to go up into the sunroof wiring.
