Purple Hays. Love his character. Really liked S3.

I have a basic question: does every Bosch season have a unique story? i.e. can I skip around and watch seasons out of order (like True Detective)?
A few details, like the ex-wife's death, the Mimi Rogers character would seem strange, a few other details like that.
Yes, would definitely recommend watching from season 1. You will have a better understanding of who's where and why. And there is a related story line in the first 3 seasons related to Bosch's mother.

The last two episodes last night didn't go how I thought they were going to.

I think they set it up pretty well for a second season.

Oh most definitely. It's just not quite how I saw it going, so that was a nice twist.

Now watching “You” on Netflix. Not your average relationship drama show....but I guess that’s why I like it.

Anyone catch "Chernobyl"?

Ep1 was great. Every time someone is told to lower the rods or check the reactor, I was telling my wife "he's screwed".

Watching Community right now. Seems pretty good, had some nice laughs from it so I think I'll finish it. It's a bit similar to Parks and Rec and The Office so I guess that's why I like it, a bit of cringy humor. The weird part is that I started watching it because of Donald Glover

Been watching Banshee on Prime. I cancelled my Cimenax subscription last month so I won't get Seasons 3 & 4. :| You can tell this is a Skinemax show.

Started watching Episode 1 a couple days ago but cut it off. I couldn't get into it.

That’s how I felt at first, unsure if I wanted to keep watching after the first 15 minutes, but by the end of Episode 1 am “all in” with the series.

To be fair, as the viewer, you’re thrown in head-first to understand what is currently happening (explosion of the reactor core) vs. the conspiracy to cover-up and pretend it was a simple roof fire. And part of that experience is to place the event within the Soviet mindset. Also, while the dialogue can be subtle at times, it is the little remarks (or expressions of the characters) that you really do need to pay close attention to so that you don’t miss something.

My advice: give Episode 1 another shot to the end; I think it’s worth the time investment. My wife wanted no part of the show (she thought it would be boring); however, she ended up really liking it as well.

Gotta get those seasons somehow. Especially Season 4, which in my opinion was the best of the series.

Thanks for sharing. The only reason I'm giving it another go is because you enjoyed Banshee and that's good enough for me.

Been watching GOT for years and also currently watching Peaky Blinders which is pretty good so far but I just started.

Recently I watched the Ozark and Narcos series on Netflix. Narcos was awesome even though a lot of it is in subtitles and Ozark was decent too.

I don't think I posted it earlier but we enjoyed Huge in France on Netflix.

Also watched and liked first episode of Chernobyl earlier tonight.
