Wiper Issue

Have an issue with the wipers where they squeak pretty badly if the windscreen is only lightly wet - goes away with heavy rain or for a brief period after using the windscreen wiper fluid. It's been in for service a couple of times to no avail - any suggestions?

Try new blades. They are free.

You may need to also use a dedicated window cleaner to get the glass clean.
If your using a auto wash soap that has wax in it, that may be the cause.

As far as I know they've already been replaced, issue still there

Isn't that just the way wipers work? Every car I've ever owned or been in would squeak if the window was only a little wet. That's why I always wait a little longer between wipes when it's just misting lightly. It drives my wife mad- she just wants me to use the intermediate! Haha...

The sound on mine persists until it's completely pouring, and it's not a quiet kind of squeak (if it's not drowned out by my music, it's pretty damn loud...)

I'd take a video but I won't have access to the car till next week lol

I'm having an issue with my wipers as well. Hardly ever rains in SoCal so this week's storms have brought about an issue. When the wipers go up they clear the windshield perfectly, on the way back down they leave a "smear" of water right across my sight line. At night the glare that this produces from on coming traffic is blinding. Decided to stop by the dealer and they have to order replacement wipers. I was thinking of just going aftermarket but the dealer said aftermarket options may limited or non-existent. Anyone know what size blades would work?

Sorry for the hijack.

is it the driver side one?

I have a similar issue but i think the problem is not the wiper but the arm where the wiper connects too... it's like it pushes to much against the windshield and makes the wiper bend in the center leaving a gap

got the wiper replaced and it's better at first but then same thing happens pretty soon again
