Where exactly is my combox?

Hi... Just took delivery of my new-to-me 2014 M235i yesterday. I was pretty disappointed to find out it doesn't support bluetooth audio streaming. I understand that if it has a combox the extended bluetooth functionality can be coded in. However, I don't know if my car has a combox exactly where to look. I keep reading that it's "in the trunk," but I'm not sure if that means it would be in the same well as the battery and the red connector box and tire pump (which it isn't) or perhaps under another panel someplace. Sorry to be such a newb, but had to start someplace.

FYI, I had no problem pairing my iPhone for hands-free calling. But it does not offer the audio connection option.

This site tells you systems by model and production years:
https://www.bimmer-tech.net/blog/ite...cic-nbt-nbtevo

Go to Navigation, settings and then software to see what version head unit you have. There will be a set of numbers with some letters at the end. Those letters will tell you what system you have. If you have the larger screen system, it is NBT (Next Big Thing). If if you have this, the combox is built into the head unit and believe the CIC system (smaller screen) is built in as well but not certain. You can code to unlock Enhanced Bluetooth (EBT) which will give you office and music streaming.

Combox is located in your trunk below the panel. You can’t see it by just raising the floor, you have to take it out as a whole. It’s not attached in any way. You just have to lift the floor as a whole to and remove it from the trunk. Then you will see the fuse box and the combox. Combox is the one on the drivers side.
