It's not too badly priced for $349. I have been watching this transmission flash for a while and they had to reschedule several times because it wasn't 100%, so it looks like they spent a lot of time on this. Never had a transmission flash done, so this will be interesting. Of course, it was released the same day as I had to leave town for a week

This will be my next upgrade. I'm still not 100% sure on the cabling and all I need to make this happen. I already downloaded the xHP Application to my Android.it looks relatively simple.

Just flashed xHP Stage 2 on my M235i. Sheeesh what a difference this makes, matches perfectly with my BM3 Stage 2 tune.

The gears shift instantly and no more jerkiness when driving around the city. Worth the upgrade, very happy.

what cable are you guy using? why is mine shows up can't find the tcu. I use the cable that people do bm3 tunes and even the gauge shows service mode..

Using the BM3 OBD to ethernet cable and "BlueStacks" emulator on my mac not working for me. Also have an amazon tablet that keeps acting up, so can't try with that. I'm guessing a different cable is needed.

A bit hesitant to order more cables..

Barely finishing the recommended 50 miles of nonaggressive city driving after tuning, but it feels pretty nice. Shifts are not jerky and their description of 50% faster shift speed is pretty accurate. For $349, you really can't go wrong. I flashed stage 3 and install was easy and fast.

cant agree more. the tcu tune is amazing. turn the car to two dividend driving mod.
comfort+d=daily drive, save gas, no rush at all
sport+ + S = beast mod. rpm never turn down. know exactly what you want. shift fast like the dct.

like the sound every time i shift a lot

The ZF8 in the M235i is pretty quick out the box. I saw a video on Instagram of someone running the xHP flash in combination with FBO+PS2, it looked quick in the video but nothing crazy fast.

yea after driving around with the xhp stage 3 flash a bit i really dont think its a huge difference, its more of a change in the characteristics of the transmission when you leave it in auto such as shift points and stuff, but the overall speed of upshift isnt too different, downshifts are a bit quicker and smoother but other than that its really not that different.

So, just flashed Stg 2 XHP and so far, very impressed. In comfort, it's more comfortable if that makes any sense. In sport and sport+, yep beast mode, not sure how anyone can say the shifts are the same. One thing I like is in sport mode, you can actually get into 8th gear and stay in 8th, nice. Very quick shifts, very impressed. The factory shifts are very good, this is better, not night and day but the characteristic of the transmission is totally different and the shifts are quicker.
