Here's a clip i took recently, check out the sound. There isn't much clips on the sound of the Eisenmann on the net, so hope this helps.

Kay - sounds good. Is this with standard downpipe or have upgraded to decat or HFC DP ? BP

I don't really have anything to lose here, it is very cheap and if I don't like the feel/sound, I will have an Armytrix exhaust waiting to be ordered. I am just thinking about this because maybe it will be perfect for me and I won't need to spend $3000+ on aftermarket, and save that for other important mods down the road.
You better let us know how that goes!

Anyone have any input on what the loudest axel back system would be? I'd consider cat-back too, but don't wanna go catless. At least not yet. I've got the MPE currently, and it's a great sound, just sounds quiet when I get on the gas

If you want a loud axle back get a shop to make up a set of straight pipes that would bolt up to were you MPE was cut in.

Out of all the options, the AWE Tuning with the Performance Mid Pipe was the best option for me. I have this on my S4 as well and couldn't be happier.

Just waiting to get back from vacation now so I can actually install it.

Hi BP. This is with stock downpipe and stock catalyst. I imagine the sound would be insane with decat

M235i Exhaust??

In need for an upgrade on the exhaust? Looking for the best sounding and popping/burble exhaust, has anyone come across an exhaust that fits the category?

Has anyone ever just deleted the muffler completely and fabricated a y-pipe to connect to the stock tip locations ? Kinda curious of the sound . I'm sure it's Droney at highway speeds, and understandably loosing a little back pressure is going to effect over all Max TQ NUMBERS.

I did a delete but put two vibrant 1140 resonators in. got the idea from this f30 thread.

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1380785

i find it perfect. I can hear it inside, no drone. loud when I'm on it, quiet rumble when I'm not.

I did the same on my wife's f30; oddly it's way more tame than the m235i.

Mperformance muffler: its cool if you want oem everything
Dinan muffler sounded like mperformance, just a bit louder, like the tuningverk.
Tuningverk muffler was nice, louder than m performance.
Ark muffler sounds similar to above.
Fabspeed muffler loudest of them all, reminded of being in the paddock on a hpde day.
Fabspeed delete obviously full retard, neighbord hate you, etc.

all with catless dp. All produced similar resutls on dyno, delete gave most hp obviously.
most had drone around 2700 rpm, ark had none.

I have a delete done by a local shop. Just had it done last week after researching the forums like you are, actually. Basically Looks/functions like the Fabspeed bypass but at a fraction of the cost. Find a good shop that does quality work and you can get it done for 200 or so dollars. It sounds wicked! Only word I can use to describe it. No drone at all IMO. Of course this is subjective since all people perceive/tolerate drone differently. But just to paint a picture, I can hear my music perfectly when I want to, my car does not vibrate while cruising and if I throw it on D Comfort its quiet and the overrun become muted. I can barely notice a difference over stock with the windows up. Music on or off, ac on or off, etc. However, with the windows down while cruising, it is slightly louder than stock. Cold starts are louder as well, but only for a bout 30 seconds. The best thing though is the CONSTANT burbles from overrun pretty much every time you let off the throttle while on Sport +. Its damn near intoxicating. The delete makes them much more prominent, where with the stock muffler you can hear them most in garages or tunnels. I can hear it burble all the time now and I love it!

Also worth mentioning, this is my only "mod". I don't have DP or anything else, cats and resonator are intact. So I can't speak for how loud it will be when combined with other mods. But if you want the car to sound amazing while keeping it the way it is otherwise, this is the way to go from a bang for your buck perspective.

Does installing after market exhaust, void factory warranty ? if yes then are there any aftermarket exhaust systems available that do not void BMW factory warranty?
