I have a JB4. It's a pain to install and can be fiddly with updating software etc. (which I admit is optional). Other than that I don't have any complaints and it works as it's meant to. Flash is the easier and more reliable route but you pay for it.
I really hope to see you out sometime man... You been seeing alot of 2ers around lately? Ive seen alot now! Its ridiculous haha seen SEVERAL women driving 2ers also which makes me sad lol

I hope that last part about women driving 2ers making you sad is a big joke. Who cares whether a male or female drives a certain car? Sounds like someone is insecure.

I have this one below, which is different I believe, Stage 2 ecu and it has a custom map installed which I am yet to use (need dump pipe). Will take it on a dyno after, would be interesting to see what t puts out compared to JB4, stock and flash tunes out there.. Dyno day with mixed cars would be good

Looks like the old box, but who knows they told me all new tuning boxes only come in aluminium case, they lied to me so much who knows anymore.

Since you've read my hateful thread on manhart you know how i feel lol

If I were you I'd definitely take it to a dyno, that POS definitely didn't do anything for me.

Pretty sure APR only do VW group cars eg. Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, seat and Porsche

DMS Tunes

Guy harding who used to be the agent for APR also does the DMS Tunes for BMW's here in OZ
Checkout the Harding Performace website and / or the DMS one
I have been trying to find someone in OZ who has had the DMS tune to get some feedback but havent had anyl luck, but from what i have read the DMS company out of the UK have a good tune
Guy Harding did my GTI about 7 years ago and i was very happy ,so if he does the DMS tunes i would imagine that they would be good
Gotta check my inbox on my pc but i think he quoted about 2k

This is a great little explanation - thanks!

Sorry to hijack, but I've just sold my m135i and have a JB4 up for grabs if anyone's interested. It's flashed with EWG firmware and comes fitted with the optional EWG and flex fuel harnesses.

PM me if interested!

What was the difference like once you installed the JB4 on the M135i?

I was going to get one, but decided in favour an M2 instead. i have issues with wheelspin as it is. I'd be interested in your experiences.
