I don't think it will be up until the Frankfurt Auto Show in Jan.

It should be up way before then according to previous BMW launches. the Dutch configurator is online but only shows 220i.

We should be getting reviews from magazines in December as well.

My dealer has the same dilemma and he agreed that it was odd, he even told me to call him if I finf out any new details. I wonder what's going on? maybe they want to make sure the M-Performance goodies are listed simultaneously with the configurator since they are supposed to be offered from launch and the demand for the LSD will be very high

I bet very few cars will be fitted with the LSD. The fact that it's not a factory option means few dealers will go out of their way to install one after the fact. Enthusiasts represent a very small number of actual buyers in this segment.

I'm surprised to see production has started but there is still no spec/option sheet. No word from my dealer when they are even getting one. It's going to be a long wait

Crazy. I would rather get the AUS M135i and pocket the difference, unless what is standard is very drastic.

Professional Multimedia Package (Z1G) – $2400 (n/a for M235i)
Navigation system professional
Internet functionality
Instrument cluster with extended contents
Harmon/Kardon Sound System
DAB audio

The "N/A" makes me wonder if these features will be independently selectable for the M235i, rather than lumped into a package. Intriguing... (though, more likely than not, because BMWUSA hates us, they'll stick to the same obnoxious packaging as other models)

The M235i in Australia comes with the Professional Navigation. Not sure which of the other options from the multimedia package it comes with. A lot of detail still to come. Hopefully the HK stereo is also standard.

Generally speaking, for the money they are asking there should be more standard kit. Its a so-so reaction to Mercedes Benz's new aggressive pricing in this country.

Normally I'd agree, but below that, it reads "M Sport Package (337) – $4385 (std for M235i)"... not very consistent. Hence the confusion.
