Quality seat covers?

Has anyone on here found quality seat covers/skins for the factory front seats? The Dakota leather on my driver's left bolster is starting to wear away, and being a mechanic it would be nice to have a layer of protection over it especially going into winter.

Even if you haven't bought covers specifically for the 2 series, have you used covers from a specific company in the past that you really liked?

I'm also curious if there is some sort of brush on sealer or top coat designed for this kind of faux leather coating

Wet Okole is a well regarded seat cover company, although I have not seen the 2 series application.

I go to the gym daily and leave soaked in sweat, so I decided I needed a seat cover. I ended up getting these neoprene covers and they have been so good I leave them on all of the time. I got lucky, the beige covers are unbelievable close the the oyster leather I have (people sometimes ask if they are made by BMW. The stay put, but they are easily removed (can wash as needed). Note that the boobie lady does not come with the seat covers (you can imagine my disappointment).

I've replaced seats skins with Katzkin leather and was very impressed. Not cheap, but make my old car look brand new (seats anyway). If you're semi mechanical its easy to do yourself just takes time.

That Hello Kitty picture really made my day!
And it is hardly past 8 AM here in the East.
I have bought sheepskin covers for previous cars. They are not cheap, especially if you get them made specifically for your car, but they are great in both hot and cold weather.
And Dakota leather is not faux. It may not be Rolls-Royce quality, but it is leather, for what it's worth.
The base seat covering is faux and, in fact, it does wear a lot better. Some prefer it.

I had wet Wet Okoles on the seats of my Jeep. They lasted a year. I got Marine Grade Vinyl installed by a local shop and they were awesome. I own an X3 with over 100K on it. I have the Sensatec covers which were cracking badly. I contacted a guy who came out and repaired it. It looked new. Cost $120. I asked if he did leather and vinyl and he said yes. He also does dashboards, dent removal and touch-up painting, etc. I have a detailing business so he will be my contact for the issues mentioned. I detail vehicles at home and he will come to my house for any repairs. He is doing a customers cracked dash next week. Great find.

All good replies up above, especially the pink

Did your guy graft new sensatec on or how was he able to make them like new again? That's pretty interesting, curious how it's done

I have the pleather sensatec seats. Not nearly as soft as the leather but they never show wear.
I just wish they made sensatec F23 seats in colors other than black.
