But man. I'm not gonna lie, that Macan GTS drove pretty phenomenally. Yeah, it doesn't handle as well as say my M2, but it's very very good. If i lived somewhere with terrible pavement and lots of dirt roads, I would maybe consider one, as much as it pains me to say so. And really, i can't blame anyone else for driving one at this point. |

All is well now though. I can fit two bikes, all my camp gear, and me plus one in the car. It's all I need. Seats are comfy enough to sleep in too and I can schedule ventilation so I don't suffocate! lol I will say I'm impressed by the luggage space being a small coupe. Frankly seems larger than an A3/S3 which were also on the want list.

You guys would probably call us crazy, but we actually just traded in our SUV (Honda CR-V) for a 220i Cab as our family DD.
We have a small practical car (Honda Jazz) in case it's really needed for some reason, but we wanted a cab and loved the 2 series (4 series roof takes too much ******* with the soft top. With "we" I'm talking about our family with 2 small kids. They love to drive with the roof down if it's not too fast (lots of wind in the back) and not too cold. YOLO right? |

Just sold my winter car and will run the m235i year round. It's a fantastic choice for an only car, and probably the best choice vs other cross shopped coupes

I daily my M240 (well, not so much daily anymore since I've been working from home during the pandemic, but you get the idea) and my wife daily's her 230. We have a minivan for long roadtrips or any other time we need the space.

I couldn't bring myself to parting with my E46 ZHP so keep it around, but never drive it.
My other other car is a RV I take to Burning Man and my other other other car is a Bus that we use to haul up supplies for the 50 people in my camp. You think parts on a BMW are expensive, try any parts for a Bus or Motor Coach. |

The 2 is my "fun" car. My DD/family car, or as much of a DD it can be during a pandemic, is a 2018 Mazda CX-9. The wife drives a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

My M3 is my daily driver; the 228i Convertible is my wife's daily driver. Although we seldom drive anywhere on a daily basis these days.
