225/40/19 on 240iX stock suspension?
Has anyone tried 225/40/19 on xDrive stock suspension?
If so please let me know if you ever ran into rubbing issues or tires being too tall. Thank you! |

I wanted to do this tire on my VMR wheels and they told me it wouldn't work. Are you looking to keep it a square setup?

2 discount tires tell me it should be fine. Only 2.4% increase in diameter. But the wording "should" doesn't sound very convincing so I wanted to see if anyone tried to know for sure. |

I do believe that it has to do with the rolling diameter of the tire. They can't be above like 25.1 or 25.2 inches. It throws off the computer to far. I have 235/35/19 DWS and they are at 25.1 in diameter. Run and clear just fine square.

No issues with 225/45-18 winter tyres on my RWD M240i for the past 3 years, 660mm / 26.0” diameter. As long as the tyres at all four corners are close to the same diameter, the wheel speed sensors will provide suitable signals to the control systems.
