I have a 2017 m240i and my interior button lights seem way too dim when my car is on auto brightness for headlights. If I take it off auto and turn off my headlights, the interior button lights becomes much brighter.

Any suggestions?

Have you adjusted the thumbwheel next to the light switch (which also controls instrument brightness) when the headlights are on?
