Uhm WTF I can’t believe this happened!

This happened today on my way out of a parking garage. I press down to lower my window and all the buttons fell into the housing! I can’t believe it and of course this happens the month after the factory warranty expires.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this an easy fix?

Thanks in advance!

There is. Grab a prying tool and take that plastic trim piece (button housing) out. Have a look inside and see what happened. Maybe a broken clip, maybe it was just in a bad mood and you can pop it back out. You can also try pulling the piece out through the button holes but I'd rather use prying. Usually safer

I think most of the car was made in china. 3 months after warranty my rear seats are splitting at the seam and the sound system amps quit. They did a good job at timing all the things to go wrong right after the warranty point.
