i think it flashes different amounts when you close than when you open but really never paid much attention...

Number flashing when unlocking FEM_BODY 3060 QUITTBLK_ENTSCHAERFEN_ANZAHL werte=02 Werte=X-1
Number flashing when locking FEM_BODY 3060 QUITTBLK_SICHERN_ANZAHL werte=01 Werte=X-1

So 1 flash when unlocking 0 flash when locking

Anyone know if we have this on our F22's. Found it on the F30 coding forum.

Temp Gauge on instrument cluster (although no reading is given - just a cold/hot slide bar)
KOMBI ECU, 3000 Module, BC_MOTORTEMP_ENABLE changed from Nicht Aktiv to Aktiv.

F30 OP claims it only displays the graphic, no reading just the hot/cold slide bar.

Anyone know why my Engine light turned on when I only did some simple coding from the cheat sheet???

EDIT: Now I fixed the engine light using tool32 but now it seems like the steering wheel became stiff and ill need to step harder to accelerate. Anyone know why that happened?

no tunes.
simple coding like changing the logo, taking out the disclaimer, etc basically small things from the cheat sheet.

Is it still on after cycling the ignition a few times?

were you coding with the car turned off? Is usually better to run the car or connect it to a trickle charger when you are coding so that the battery voltage stays stable else you might get errors if voltage drops below 13v

you can clear any codes with e-sys and see if it comes back or not

E-SYS can remove the fault code.
Click "External Applications" in the left menu.
Click "External Application"
Double-click "Transmitter"
Scroll to the bottom and double-click "... Clear all DTCs ..."

The OP claims on his F21 that the slider just stays in the middle regardless of engine temp. I guess it's safe to ditch the idea of coding temp gauge on our f22's.
