M235i's with M Performace Body Kits - Quite a few approved used cars available
I have noticed that there are quite a few M235i's with M Performance body kits and wheels etc that are now listed as available as approved used cars in the UK...
This one, for example.. http://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/2-Series/3...cmdc=se_na_re_ I was just wondering, are these cars that have had the M Performance bits added by the dealers to enhance there s/h product..? Or was there an M Performance kit you could add when you ordered a new one..? Also, any idea how much the M Performance bits and pieces are the the M235i..? Thanks in advance for any info....

Hi Dave, all dealer added, each has a quota usually to stock of M Perf cars. You still tempted by a 2 with this kit!
My advice would be to go light, if you PCP the money is dead from day one. Items I enjoyed most M Perf Exhaust, from splitter, wheels and mirrors. I'd avoid rear spoiler and rear diffuser perhaps and side skirts and all interior to save some cash. All my lot added around £6k to the car (dealer added not spec'don't by me). Hope this helps.

They are more than likely brand new cars, which will have been shipped to the dealer, the dealer then fits the M Performance kit you've agreed with them in your original quote when buying the car, and taadaa that's the final vehicle.
That's what I did with mine. How do you get pictures to display as signatures by the way? Last edited by HypeM235i; 03-11-2015 at 10:42 AM.. |

Yes that's what I've done as well. Look for approved used cars from BMW with all the kits that you want, then buy it. I reckon by doing so you are saving a lot of money, as a full external MP body kit with wheels costs around 6000pounds!!
Sometime it's worth calling the dealership and ask if they can release the car earlier as my understanding is that the dealer has to keep the car for 4-6 months before they can sell it. I've got mine at 3 months and only 1500miles on the clock One thing tho, make sure you check with the dealer whether the MP exhaust is installed as you can't tell from the pic in BMW website and it is also not clear from the car description..... |
