Now to totally confuse you... sometimes on early pre production models, BMW will build the early cars WITH fog lights!

Meh I'm stoked about the 228i but I feel like the rear lights just aren't keeping the aggressive/sportiness like the front does. Then again I'm sure when I see this in person I'll have a different outlook.

More detail: If you look closely at most pictures, the versions with the trim piece don't have pass-through holes in most of the mesh behind the trim piece -- it's just one plastic piece without holes and just the look of mesh. In the versions without the trim pieces, it looks like the air dam is functioning because there truly are holes that go through the dam. This lends credibility to the theory that the ones without the air blades are for warmer climates. |

No Doubt you'll be seeing a lot of the the 2ers in EBII. I think Carbon Black would be a good choice if they decided to add it like they did on the 135's. This and the 4 look great in metallic colors.
Great find OP. |

Stunning color. I would debadge, black grilles, change the wheels for some dark 19" multi-spokes and call it a day.

Absolutely blizzaks are amazing! Been running them on my 135i past couple winters. Took it up to Vermont for a couple ski trips and no problems at all. It was a beast and so much fun. Did rack up a speeding ticket tho. |
