Does this recall only effect specific years or configurations? I have a 2016 M235 xdrive AT. Regardless, recalls like this should be offered free of charge even when outside of the warranty correct?

It seems only affects some F22s with a B48 & B58 only.

N20 & N55 2 Series BMWs are not part of this recall campaign.

I just had the update done and noticed my passenger side airbag disabled light is lit (next to interior lights up top) never noticed this before but manual says it's normal if there is nobody in the seat or someone too light. Just wondering if everyone else's is like this too?

Normal - mine stays on when no one sits on the passenger seat.
