one push engine off

I hate the two push off option that my 2016 M235i has. I have the bimmer code and have changed a few things but I cant find the one engine off code area? Is it the same as I drive off with door open ? Anyone who can guide me appreciated.

Thanks
Hap

As to amber sidemarker delete....absolute least favorite....those lights have a purpose, to my benefit.

In regards to five blinks versus 3, after you code that does it show up in I-drive as 5 blinks or does it still say 3 blinks?

I Drive off with door open eliminates the need for two button push

The coding was done remotely by Alex, who did a few cars for others back then, so I just watched it go by on my laptop screen. Best I recall, it showed 5 in the settings, but this is now about 4 years ago.

I have mines set to 7 blinks per signal stroke, it still shows "3" within the iDrive.

First, thanks to the guys that contributed to this thread. I ended up getting the Vgate iCar Pro Bluetooth 4.0.

Works perfectly.

For me, these are the changes I've made:

ASD off
all nanny warnings off (seatbelts, idrive, etc etc)
AC/climate control settings to remember what the heck I want
...and I changed my start logo to the Christmas one. Even though I haven't actually seen it yet. oh well

What is this "2 button push to turn car off?"

In stock form, to turn engine off I press Start/Stop once and engine shuts down. Radio still on until I open door and then lock it.

My absolute favorite Bimmercode: Auto-fold mirrors when car lock. It works with both the touch on handle & on the wireless key fob.

Does anyone know if once you purchase the Bimmercode app it's good for multiple cars? I had a '16 M235 that I coded with the app, but now have a '19 M240. Do I have to purchase again? Thanks.

You can just press the start/stop once more to turn off all the electronics (radio etc.) without having to get out and lock the door. I believe thats what people are talking about.

I have tried the auto fold mirrors but the don't work. Is the hardware standard or do some cars come without the necessary motors? Send unlikely because it is possible to angle the mirrors manually. Any help here appreciated.

Does it work by long pressing the lock button on your key after locking the car?

You can code that out too and reduce delay.

My favourite is the disabling of the 'You're responsible if you crash while using this system [OK]' prompt that needed acknowledging every damn time I started the car. Seriously, it's like signing an EULA every time I run Word instead of just the first time it's installed.

Then comes every other ding dong damn alarm that's designed to stop stupid people from doing stupid things. Basically I've coded the car into "Adult who is happy to be responsible for my own actions" mode.

Oh and that active sound nonsense had to go.

I ended up coding out the wait time on holding the press to lock feature. It closes in 1/2 of a second as opposed to immediate. That's the lowest I can code it to. If I touch the lock button for a split second, the doors will lock and the mirrors won't fold. It'll fold only if I hold it for about 1/2 a second.

Where is that code for a 2017 F23 to increase the delay for mirror fold? Love that I can fold the mirrors with the door handle but its just too close in time between "just lock" and "lock with mirror fold".

I coded the seat temperature for the back to be at it's highest setting and the seat the lowest. since we don't have the option to heat back only. I like the heat on my back not my ass.

M2 logo? Can you show a picture? Is this on the cluster?

Here it is. Couldn't make a preview image. Sorry for that
It shows when you turn on the instrument cluster.
By default my car used to show a boring red BMW logo.
