Another “will these fit?” and more

Hi everyone,

I’ve dug through these forums and thought I had figured out what would work and what wouldn’t, but I came across this package claiming to be compatible with my ‘18 m240ix:
https://www.bmwpartspros.com/oem-par...ot-36115a3de45

Would these fit? I’m on factory suspension
Also, what are people’s experience with these (cup 2 connect) tires?
These would be my summer setup. All daily.
I appreciate the help

I'd say no they wont fit a non-M2 2 series. We have smaller available space for wheels than the 3 series and M cars do. The linked site does say they fit but I'd highly doubt it without a lot of camber and fender rolling.

240 treadwear tires is a bit excessive for daily driving, you'll gain in dry grip but lose in lifespan and wet traction. If that's worth it to you, it's your choice.

You'd need camber, an aggressive fender roll and pull, and running the front 19x9J-et29's front and back as a square setup with very aggressive backpad milling (~5-7mm). I've thought about it, but ended up abandoning it because its just a bad idea. Theyre way too big and backmilling will compromise their strength.

If you like that look and forged tech, I'd recommend APEX VS-5RS as an aesthetic and functionally close (or maybe superior) stand-in.
