Can you replace a Pirelli Sottozero S2 with a Sottozero 3?

I have some low mileage sottozero series 2 tires on and one blew today. I can't find any series 2 in stock, can I replace with a series 3 without any major issue?

I believe you can, I would replace an axle pair. I wouldn't mix tires
always best to get a set of 4, but damn, price right

I have a set of 2's and a set of 3's when one blew out I replaced like for like took 2 weeks
