Tire Fitment Advice

Wheels: 18x8.5 +40 (square)
Tires: either 235/40 or 245/35 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
Suspension: Dinan springs
Camber: -0.5 F / -1.7 R (no camber plates)
Usage: Daily driver with no track use but occasional spirited back road runs

I'm torn between 235/40 and 245/35. Anybody have any first hand experience with similar setups and any pictures would be helpful. Not looking to do any fender modifications nor run camber plates.

Yes, I have scoured the threads and the Apex wheel gallery etc. Just wondering if there's any unspoken for rides/people with experience with this type of setup as after all my research I'm still somewhat torn.

40 is the perfect offset for these cars if you want to run square. I run 245/35s all around on 18x8 ET40 wheels. Stock, xDrive, no problems. I would not expect problems with the 18x8.5 ET40s either.

Good to know! Looks like my wheels will have 6mm more poke than yours so a close representation.
