Ordered it from Kies. Originally the customer service was great then it was straight trash. I love Bryan but I couldn't get a reply to save my life from their customer support staff.

Anyway, hood was available quicker than expected but took a little more to ship once it was available which is understandable.

I received the hood with no issues and no damage which I was worried about.

The hood looks great but there ended up being an issue. The holes for the hood stops were nit pre-done like they were in every video and pictures I seen online. I was in such a hurry to get the hood on I didn't even notice till the end when I was swapping the hardware over. One thing to note is they tend to make the openings smaller so you can open them up some to make things fit properly.

I picked up some hole saw drill bits but quickly realized it wasn't going to work properly with the hood installed. Ended up using the dremmel and some grinding bits to get the job done. Honestly if I had just noticed the issue up front it would have saved me so much time and a few dollars Wirth of work.

Oh well. I need to spend some time getting the alignment dialed in and the height etc but she's on and for now from a few feet away it doesn't look bad. Overall I'm happy despite the issue I ran into.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but my oem hood was scratched up bad in two spots.. either it was keyed or someone sat on it with buttons in the pants or something weird. It was embarrassing how bad it was.

Btw. I did this all by myself and honestly it wasn't that difficult to do.

Still on the fence about whether or not I should have got a gts style hood or not. Oh well..

I spoke to sabon directly and they just sort of blew it off and said to just cut my own holes. So I went out and bought all the crap I needed to do it which was annoying...

I haven't put mine on yet, are there any issues with the strength of the hood struts and the light weight of the hood?

Yes.. either you need different struts or what I did was disconnect one and open and close the hood really easy.

Looks great man! Make sure you put some ceramic on it to keep the clear in good ship. Alternatively you could slap some PPF on there to keep it in tip top shape. Pretty sure she isn't a garage queen so some PPF will really keep the paint chips and marring from washing to an absolute minimum. Whats next?

Well I did the ceramic... I already have chips unfortunately because of where I live.

The rear spoiler is crap and I got one to replace it. Etc

I have a turbo coming and then it's wheels I think tbh. I'm honestly not sure..
