0W-20 or 0W-30? MHD Stage 2.

Sup y’all so I got a buddy who’s telling me to run 0W-30 (this is my first oil change from being tuned. Previous owner I assume put 0W-20 as he had it stock.

What do y’all say?

A fully synthetic 5W30 is fine.

Stock tune, I run Liqui-Moly 5W-30 from the FCPEuro kit. You can't go wrong with anything 0W-20 thru 5W-40, though it's probably wise to stay in the 0W range with your climate. I'd suggest 0W-30 to be safe with the tune, especially if you drive it hard and don't mind slightly slower warm-up.

Been using LM 0W-20 for the last 45,000 miles, with changes every 5,000 miles. So 9 oil changes so far.

Stage 2+ HPFP 95 octane, stage 3 xHP. Blackstone Labs results came back clean at the 40k and 60k mark; waiting on the results of the 80k sample.

5W-40 as well... And if in SUB ZERO temps and plan to start the engine, change oil prior to that occuring and use 0-# oil... But really, if it's -10°+ are you driving anywhere? Lolz

Im in NW IL, I'm going to go onto stage 2/2+ in the upcoming month an I plan to daily the car through winter. Would 5w40 be good to run all times or no?
