Not wearing runflats likely helps too. All of my testing was done with the OEM runflat pirellis. Im waiting for spring to hit to mount PS4's on it, with a little lighter VMR wheel set, and then going to try a few updated runs. Only difference now is Ive also got a full size spare sitting in the trunk adding weight.

My last 0-60 shared was about 3.45 secs, and I dont think that was with the B58TU pump but I could be wrong. I imagine with e40 and the better tires I should be able to beat that now.

I dont have 1/4 mile because I run out of road pretty quickly around here LOL
To be honest, I don’t know the ps4s will make much of a difference on a Xdrive car. According to what I’ve read, changing the tires on the xdrive cars only gives you a negligible difference in times, for the rwd guys it does make a huge difference though.

I hope you can record some logs of the new E40 map, I’d love to see how the rail pressure (tu pump ) does with the slightly higher ethanol blend %

this car realy amazes me in stock form.
Sadly there is no e85 available where i live,
so i have to go with the ots 95 map.
Is there any advantage with the tu pump without
the use of ethanol?

Thanks
I believe there is, if I’m not mistaken the hpfp 95 octane map does have more timing than the regular stage 2 95 octane map

I wouldnt spend money on a TU pump if you're not planning on running ethanol and upgrading your turbocharger.

4 Michelin Sport 4s will easily down 0.20 on 1/4 mile vs oem rft tires in summer time.

Pure800/TU update

Pure800 dyno update***

Finally had the current set up dynod, it made 557/479 with a conservative E30 tune using the TU pump.

I’ve only made a handful of 1/8th mile passes but the car ran a consistent 7.0et @101.5-102.5mph.
I made one single 1/4th mile pass and it ran a 11.0et @128mph with a soft launch and left in auto, unfortunately the track was way too packed that day and that was the only pass I was able to make. I do believe the car can easily run as 10.7-10.8 if launched a lil more aggressively and shifted manually.

I just wanted to share more or less what to expect from a Pure800/TU combination with a little bit of ethanol and a conservative tune before I upgraded my hpfp to a Dorch stage 2.

Current mod list:
-Pure800
-TU hpfp
-MHD custom tune
-AA catless downpipe
-E30 fuel
-xHP stage 3
-K&N panel filter

Old thread, update.

The car just sold but I figure I’d post some numbers on what the car did as a few other parts were added to it. Some of these parts are for sale in the b58 f30 classifieds.

The car was a DI only set up, and you can see the difference between the e50 tune vs e50+meth power output and 1/4 - 60-130 times. I never installed the PI system because the car sold right before I was set to install it, but I’m sure PI would’ve been a little faster.

-E50 only made 562hp and ran 10.7s in the 1/4 with a 7.4sec 60-130.
-Meth/e50 made 617hp with an average 1/4 time of 10.5s and mid 6s in the 60-130.

Very nice! Mind an ask as to why you sold her? Also, what parameters on those times if you don't mind sharing as well. AFR/RPM/TIMING/Trans SHIFT, etc., etc... . Did you adjust or use boxed tunes?

Very nice regardless, thanks for posting.

What tires were on the car during these runs?

Wild mph on those times. Obviously the car was quick, would have been nice to see you get a good good run and get a low 10.

I went 10.9 @ 122/123 on stock turbo and I already have traction problems. I can imagine what you were dealing with..
