XHP Settings: torque limits by gear

I couldn't find what others are using for setting when searching on here so posting this.

Car is 19 M240i RWD. I am trying to dial in the torque limit settings to find a good balance of traction and over drivability.

My current settings:
1st gear: 368 ft lbs- 500 Nm
2nd gear: 442 ft lbs- 600 NM
3rd gear: 515 ft lbs- 700 Nm
4th thru 8th: using the default settings

I'm finding that traction is mostly good but at times feels like there is just too much torque (2nd gear and up) and just isn't a smooth driving experience.

What do others have their settings at, and is there a max torque target you try to never go over? For example, set it to 600Nm for all gears to always keep torque under 450 ft lbs??

Nobody else's answers will matter to you. Tire setup, location, weather, mods all change this..
I don't use any reduction, at all fyi

Yes, you make a good point. But, do you know how much torque your car is producing? I logged 470 to 480 ft lbs on stage 2 last year. I wonder if others use XHP to ensure torque never goes over a certain number (feels like I've heard our tranny shouldn't be pushed too much past 450 ft lbs).

It can handle well past 450

No idea on the 240.. the 335 was a 10.90 car and I never once used any reduction..
