Sounds like you have to turn it back on under the vehicle settings.

I've got it in the Idrive just doesn't come up on the instrument cluster when I scroll through with the button on the turn signal

Did you happen to find a solution to this at all? It’s also happened to my car and I can’t seem to get it back. It just suddenly disappeared.

You can select what displays and what does not on the iDrive.

From the manual:

"Selecting information

You can select what information from the Onboard
Computer is to be displayed on the Info
Display of the instrument cluster.
Via iDrive:
1. "My Vehicle"
2. "iDrive settings"
3. "Displays"
4. "Instrument panel"
5. Select the desired setting."
