F22 Kombi Faulty

Hi guys, new here so please let me know if im posting in the wrong place. Brothers car's Kombi has been progressively getting worse. Wondering if anyone has experienced this or anything similar. Tried a software update a while ago and battery resetting but wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Looking at replacement ones but holding off til we find one priced decently. Part number is 8716081 if this helps.

Welcome. I'd take the car to a BMW specialist (not the dealer) and have the kombi scanned. How did you update the software. Was the update for the engine computer (DME)? The kombi's software may need to be re-installed.
