Place to buy a tool chest in Germany
I've been trying to find a place that sells a toolchest similar to this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002D...6RL&ref=plSrch
Problem is I can find them all over when I'm in the states, but I'm stationed in Ramstein, Germany and I can't seem to find them anywhere. I have found tool cabinets at Tomb and OBI, one toolchest at OBI (but came with tools and was too small). I don't need it to come with tools, I have a ton already and trying to find a bigger toolchest to move my tools into. Can anyone recommend a store that sells these, what they are called in German even? Prefer local to me, but can travel to get it as well. |

Looks like they have 2 different with or without tools. That place looks awesome though and looks like they have places in the US as well.

They have a smaller toolchest similar in size to what I have now and it comes with tools already. Was the only thing they have at the moment. I have plenty of tools, don't need more generic ratchets and sockets. Just need more space

Didn't know I could check DRMO on base. Thought all of that stuff had to be sent back to the states. I might need to check with my supervisor. We actually have about 10 switches and routers that need to be taken to DRMO so might go with and see what I can find. Thanks for that info.

I'm eagerly awaiting the ring. Never been to Spa. Actually talking to the wife about buying new PSS for the 19s and ditching the DWS06 all seasons so I don't kill myself on the track racing.

Sounds nice. I really like the PSS. I think they handle really well. When you go, make sure you get a ride in the M3 ring taxi and ask for Dale. Great guy and he'll give you a hell of a ride. I had a blast, even sitting in the back seat. Take it easy the first few times you go around. Cars and bikes come out of nowhere so it helps to have someone helping you look for traffic. They only offer Spa a few days a year. I did mine in October and the weather was really nice.

I'm running a 235/265 setup on the 19s so switching to PSS should be very nice Why ride in the ring taxi when you can try to keep up with the ring taxi lol. I saw the ring taxi last year doing the drift event and it was pretty awesome to see.
My wife rides with me when we track (at least she did when we took the avenger in the rain) so she'll be my eyes. I watched a video of the Ariel Atom speed run on the ring and a lot of the passes you didn't see the car until it was too late. Next time you hit Spa, have to let me know so I can tag along |

Awesome setup! Ride in the ring taxi because he beats the crap out of that car. Pretty amazing to see what that car can do in the right hands. He does the VLN racing and has a lot of experience on that track.
Next time I go to Spa, I'll hit you up. I was the only M235i out there. A few M4's. It was actually really empty during my session. Can't wait to go back. Will probably be later in the summer. I'm going to miss the 24hrs of Nurburgring this year but will be here for 24 hrs of Spa. Also plan on hitting up the F1 race in Spa this year as well. I had a blast last year. Can't wait for spring and summer!!!!!!!!!!! |
