Just bought a 2016 manual M235i. It has an AWE Touring exhaust, if anyone Southeast Michigan is looking for one I would be willing to trade for a stock exhaust.

Guess this will serve as my introduction post. Just picked up my dream spec M235i: 6spd, estoril blue over terra, slick-top and m-performance exhaust. I also have an E36 M3 sedan but it is going up for sale soon. Looking forward to many happy miles ahead!

Hi All, I sold a 2017 M240x AT vert last spring. I really want to get back into a RWD 6sp but will probably have to buy long distance. Is there anyone local in SE Mich that is willing to take me for a ride / let me drive a RWD / 6sp? I live in Commerce Twp and work a couple of days a week in Troy. I'm a 50 yr old dude now driving a Miata. I'm not looking for a joyride but just want to confirm I'm making the right choice before I fly out to buy a car somewhere.

Hey Guys,

Kind of like an introduction post for me. I am in Northville and looking for a sporty DD with the 6 speed manual. Have it down between the 230i, Jetta GLI & the upcoming integra. IMO they are all different cars with each having its pros and cons and i understand that. However, i would appreciate if anyone can provide feedback on the following here:

- How does the 230i with m-sports suspension and 17" wheels ride on our crappy michigan roads ? Is the ride quality just properly balanced or is it still on the harsher side ?

- How does the 230i with the base suspension handle, i test drove this with the 8AT and i felt the ride quality was good enough for me. But didn't get a chance to really push the car into tight corners.

Though every time I see it, I'm in my work van and not in my baby lol
