I'm really surprised there hasn't been a post or two for Michigan recently. Since spring started I've seen five new 2 series in Ann Arbor. A blue 228 vert, two blue 235s, a black 235, and a white 228.

It's pretty crazy because I hadn't seen a single 2 on the road for the first 14 months I owned mine.

Anyone alive out there?

Hey Guys! just purchased a used M235i from PA and pick it up on Tuesday next week! super excited! Im brand new to BMW's and have a lot to learn. I have been lurking in this forum to learn as much as possible before I get it!. Im in the Saint Clair Shores area. You guys know of anyone who does coding in the SE Michigan area?

I don't know anyone that does it commercially, however... From what I understand, it's easy to code our cars using Bimmercode for iPhone/iPad and and an ODB WiFi adapter. Total cost about $50. I had my buddy previously code my car using eSys and a laptop, but for future changes I am going the Bimmercode route since we were not able to do a full VIM enable using eSys (doesn't work for vehicles running iDrive 5+).

There are extensive threads on here discussing both coding options if you want to code yourself in the coding/DIY section.

Hello 2 Enthusiasts! I am new to the board, and didn't see an "introduce yourself" thread so I'm just posting here. I have had a 2015 Valencia 228i X and I'm getting ready to trade on a Sunset Orange 230i X.

My 228 has been brilliant. Zero problems, zero complaints. I will come back in a week or so and update with some pics of my 230, but for now here is the outgoing 228.

I look forward to participating in the board discussions!

Hi all ... first post here on the forum. I just got a CPO 2015 228i and I've been driving it carefully around the craters of SE Michigan. I absolutely love the car so far - my first BMW, although my wife has been driving them since the '90s. (She has an X1 at the moment, which is why I could get the smaller, "less practical" car.) I'll post pics as soon as I can take some decent ones. Nice to be here!

Spotted a black F23 M240i xDrive in Lake Orion today parked in the Baldwin Commons shopping plaza lot, way off in the distance under some slight tree shade in this crazy heat. Great minds think alike...anyone on here?
