Problem is... I CAN NOT WAIT!!!!
It´s summer time (yes, even in Germany), everybody seems to be on vacation and the dealership told me something of mid/late august.

You are lucky because mine was ordered end of February in Switzerland and I am still waiting...

Normally, I should receive it end of July !

By the way, for all the people from Europe, once you get the VIN Number from your dealer, can you obtain accurate information from it ?

I try to follow my car but none of the website I visited tell me information about the production, the delivery...

Maybe... I have no clear explanation but my dealer said that in February, BMW has sold a huge amount of cars.

So, my feeling is they have maybe organize the production depending on the models and for a small production such as a M235i xdrive, they have postponed everything.

Since my last comment, I have seen that my rocket has been produced last Friday so according to the timelines I have in hand, in two weeks, I will have it !!!

I guess you´ve been sick of waiting by now... It´s a shame they make you wait for 5 months.

My home town is actually like 15 km from the factory in Leipzig. I think I should stop by and speed up things a bit.

Of course, I have been pissed by this situation and I sent a lot of emails to my dealer but at the end, I was not able to influence the timeline !

The good thing at the end will be the options included in my car because when I ordered the car, some of them were "optional" such as the speed limit info, the storage package... and there are now automaticaly included so I will get them for free !

By the way, if you are living close to Leipzig, please, ask the factory to bring my car first to Switzerland !!!!

By coincidence I do know some people working there, but there´s nothing one could do to influence their production or distribution of cars.

How do you know your options are free now? Is that some kind of incentive from your dealer? Because as far as in know, I would´ve also had to pay for Speed Limit Info (which I won´t get).

To answer your question about the options that I have now, I have just quickly checked and it is the speed limit info and the storage package (maybe more but I do not find them ^^)! Now the PDC is also included in the car as a standard option (but I chose this option when I ordered the car :-()

So minor changes, no worries, your car is up-to-date

New Owner of a 220i M Sport coupé in state of Vaud, Switzerland.

F22/23 are quite the rare sight here. I only seen a M235i and two 220i convertible near Lausanne.
