Nice times. An M235i ran a 2:25 at the Glen in Sport mode with all traction control on. Novice driver < 5 track days.
I don't see how turning nannies off to achieve a 2:23 would even be worth the risk, since in the end it's still an HPDE. I guess Sport + would be the next step for that driver but to achieve a second or two... Is it worth it? These cars are a blast to drive though, that's for sure. |

Well I got down to a 2:20 at the Glen in my M235i on Sunday. 6spd. RWD. Stock Brake Pads. ATE 200 Brake Fluid. Hankook RS3 245-40R17 Square. (13 Days on them running 38 hot all around).
Super excited, had a couple 2:23s that day, I am beyond excited. |
