H&K Subwoofers not working - not intermittent

So I have tried to search on forums and groups about anyone that's had their Subs go out. This is not the intermittent issue where the subs stop working and when the iDrive system cycles it will work again. I've let the car sit overnight, restarted the idrive and played all around with devices, settings etc to get the Bass to work. Its been about 2 weeks now with no bass from the subs.

I tried the dealer but I'd rather ask here on possible fixes/ things to check before spending $180 just to diagnose. Thanks in advance for any help or advice on possible things to look at before taking it in.

Most likely the amp is the cause of your problem. Are you experiencing any other electronic/electrical issues?

That is what I'm thinking based on what I've read but was just looking to get some 2nd opinions from owners. No other electrical issues at all, just went out one day while driving and hasn't come back since. I wasn't stressing the sound system either just went out. its a 2016 but only 33K miles but warranty ran out in Nov, so the dealer wants to charge to diagnose it.

One thing I'm clueless on is audio and electrical I don't mess around with that so may just bite the bullet and diag it.

Thanks for the feedback.

Try disconnecting the amp connector and leave it disconnected for 20 minutes.

I installed a Audiotech-Fischer MATCH BMW-7UP amp in my 2018 M240i. It's very tune-able.
