New tires, getting TPM malfunction

Hello. I got some new tires and tried doing a TPM reset but then I got malfunction. Is this normal? How can I fix this?

What happens when u reset the tpm system through your iDrive ? Does it go to 100% ?

Also and I know it’s obvious check the all four tire pressure with a gauge

so today received low tire pressure warning. filled four tires with air and went to reset the tpm sensors on iDrive where in the past I would get that % done screen.

Well today it seemed to RESET differently, I'm wondering if during my last service the computer upgrade changed the way the car relays tire pressure RESET.

The iDrive screen said something about the resetting taking place and my dash display showed a picture I don't recall seeing before ( though I may be mistaken) stating the RESET was done.

Everything seems to be working 100%.

update: today 1/22 after having my tire fixed for a slow leak the car went through the traditional tpm % resetting that had always been.
