drivetrain malfunction
just got a drivetrain malfunction on my way home about a mile from my house. i just installed a dinantronic sport tune on my 2015 n55 m235i and have driven it for maybe 50 miles with that on. could that be the issue for the drivetrain malfunction? anyone else have that issue? also just filled up on 93 gas just before that happened maybe 10 miles after getting gas i got the error. before filling up everything was fine. could it be water in the gas thats causing it?
when the car was idling it was sharking quite alot and it was very unhappy when any gas was given to it. after taking off the tune the idle shake went away and the shake while driving felt like it was gone too but the car still didn't feel normal and still had a drivetrain malfunction. |

happened while driving, about 2500 ish rpm 5th gear. didnt have a code reader at the time. removed the tune and its gone now, picked up a code reader and carry it in my car now. talked to dinan and they said it could just be faulty and to try it on a lower setting (which i did) and its working fine now. waiting to see if the code comes back to run a OBD2 scan on it.

check the wire by the tmap sensor, make sure making full connection.
could be a boost code, would go away after restart. Could be bad wiring or connections, could be time for sensors. how many miles on the car? see my thread: https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1551644
