Connected ?? Is it a free service ??

I bought a used 2016 M225i last month.

Looks like the Connected stuff is working, meaning I get live traffic on my Nav screen, Weather and so on.

Is this a subscription Service?

Yes, BMW Connected drive. First 3 years included then $50 a year for three different packages. Check out the Owners section on the BMWUSA site for details. I think it is $150 for all three services.
