Does anyone have M240i results with meth?

Also, where are they strapping the cars from for the dyno? From the horror stories I've heard of cars being strapped down wrong, I'm afraid of getting a dyno done.

The safe method to strap BMWs down is to use 'T' Hooks after removing the jacking blocks and inserting the 'T' hooks and using webbing to the tie down points: https://www.bimmerworld.com/Tools/BM...-Set-of-4.html

Strapping down to suspension arms will risk bending the alloy arms.

nice gains, but is 391 WHP not a bit to much strain for the B58 engine ? ( Fuel cap, gearing )

401whp

Ive been running it since August with a few track days and no issues.
Stock clutch seems to be coping which was a concern of mine.

Big difference compared to MP?
I've only heard good things about HCP.

Appears to have roughly the same power, but more upfront power than in the backside, ...... both solid tunes, bringing that wHP up to 400, keeping in check with a Steve Dinan interview I heard him say 25-30% more power is a good stopping point for longevity in BMWs

My end goal for my b58 is 500-550whp. I was told any more than that and it will start to have issues with the motor and tranny holding up.

Probably more issues with motor than tranny.

I am scheduling a dyno day right now for next week.

I have a m240i with a Dinan_Engineering CF intake and a Stage 1 V1 tune.

I plan on doing runs in bypass and with Stage 1 activated.

Time to see if this Dinan_Engineering intake and tune lives up to their claims!

Good luck, but I don't think this is the platform for 500+ at the wheels, at least not as a DD.

my first dragy time ( 100-200 ) was not completly optimal , i think 0.2 seconds lower is possible, but not bad for the first attempt... if driving should i let in in sport + mode, or is it better for manual shifting ...

8.79 seconds 100-200 is pretty good. With the X-Drive and your mods, your 0-100 kph is probably around 4 flat so upper 12’s 0-200. I believe stock is mid to upper 15’s. Sport Plus is probably best.

I'm pretty sure they used 5th on the auto. Should be 1:1 ratio.
