19" Wheels

Hi all,

Does anyone have the following set up on a 2015 m235i or something similar?
Staggered set up
19x8.5+38 front
19x9.5+38 rear

Looking to get a new set of wheels and just wondering whether that would work in terms of rubbing and poking? It'll be stock suspension.
Unfortunately they can go higher in the offset so just making sure whether this works.
Any input would be much appreciated!

Cheers,
Jon

Hi Jon,

I don't know the offset, but that's the setup I have on my 2015 M235i. They're genuine BMW 359s with (R:255/30/19) (F:225/35/19).

Stock, adaptive suspension and no rubbing - fill the wheel wells nicely.

I'll be pulling the wheels off this weekend - I try to find the offset and get back to you.

Ken

Beautiful set up! I've pretty got the same except haven't got the diffuser yet.

Yes please, that would be much appreciated!

Cheers,
Jon

Both will poke. No rubbing on stock suspension though.

My current configuration:
19x8.5et39 pokes about 2mm at the rim, but 235/35 tires tuck under the fender to make a smooth transition.

19x9.5et44 pokes about 10mm at the rim, with 265/30 tires even the top of the tire is visible about 2-3mm.

Completely stock suspension on ‘17 m240 xDrive which is the exact suspension setup for the m235.

Hi Jon,

I had the wheels off, to flush the brakes, but I couldn't find the offset? I found the sizes of the wheels, but not the offset. Joe240 seems to know what he's talking about - follow his advice!

Front would be fine but the rear would be about 12mm outside the guard.

Thank you all for the answers! Don't think I'll be getting those wheels even though they look mint. If you guys know anyone selling 19" wheels for m235i, lemme know! Based in Brisbane.
Cheers
