VMR V801 - YOU SPOKE, WE LISTENED – LIMITED RUN, PRE-ORDER FORUM SPECIAL!

Generally we recommend 8.5 ET35 / 9.5 ET45 (sometimes ET50) for the 2-Series platform. This spec works well for most, but some individuals have been requesting fitment that is slightly less aggressive.

You spoke, we listened! We currently have a 5 SET LIMITED RUN of our V801 in Anthracite Metallic being produced in the BMW 2-Series specialized fitment of 19x8.5 ET43 / 19x9.5 ET50. This fitment is ideal for those looking to run a wider tire and/or less aggressive fit than our typical 2er options. These wheels are compatible with all 2-series trims/model - 228i, 230i, M235i, & M240i.

Pre-orders for this specialized 2-Series fitment are OPEN with a fully refundable 50% deposit. If at any point you wish to cancel the order before our shipment arrives, this deposit will be returned to your card in full – No “cancellation fee” or anything like that.

V801 Anthracite Metallic 19x8.5 ET43 5x120 72.6 @ $340
V801 Anthracite Metallic 19x9.5 ET50 5x120 72.6 @ $340
Total: $1360 + $99 Shipping within Continental US

Pre-orders placed NOW through MAY 31 are eligible for FREE SHIPPING.

Contact me at 714-442-7916 x108 or via email @ brandon@velocitymotoring.com to reserve your set! Tire packages are available as well, mounted & road-force balanced in-house prior to shipping.

The flow formed V801 is our newest design that has proven a great match for the F22 2-Series platform both in terms of performance and appearance. The flow formed manufacturing process provides reduced weight and increased performance while the full face mesh styling stays true to modern BMW design language.

**The photos below show what the V801 looks like on the 2-series platform in our ‘standard’ fitment. Please note the fitment offered in this thread is slightly less aggressive allowing for more fender clearance.**

Are there any spring sales planned for VMR and the v801 standard fitment?

Is there any way to get this fitment in a color other than the Anthracite Metallic?

Thanks,

These in darker 19s are literally the perfect wheel for the 2 series

I'm wishing I'd got these not 437 reps, do you have an pictures of them on a mineral grey 2?

Unfortunately, there are no plans in place for a spring sale at this time.

Thanks,
These can be powder coated to one of our custom finishes! Take a look at our Custom Powder Coat Finishes Gallery to see many of the finishes we offer!

We offer an 18x8.5 ET45 that can be used with a 3mm spacer. This fitment allows the use of a 235/40/18 tire.

Oh thanks but I really wanted to do 255 in the rear. I'd need a 18x9 at least for that I believe

Can't decide between our premium finishes? Why not run both? @joshb2448 (IG) couldn't either, so he decided to run both on his E82! V801's seen here in Titanium Black Shadow (passenger) and Mercury Black Metallic (driver).

255/35/18 is suitable for an 8.5" wheel, although that's typically the widest you'd want to go.

Hi VMRWheels,

concerning the prevention of rubbing, which setup is the safest:

The „traditional“ one:
(F) 8,5/19 ET35
(R) 9,5/19 ET 45

or the less radical one:
(F) 8,5/19 ET43
(R) 9,5/19 ET 50

with tire setup:
(F) 225/35/19
(R) 255/30/19

My car: F23 M240i with original OEM (adaptive) chassis.

Thanks!
BR

Stilo,

The ET43 and ET50 will provide more clearance, but in our experience, the ET35 and ET45 also fit without rubbing.

Yup! Waiting on those too. Don't want to have to use a non-hub centric 3mm spacer!

Gorgeous wheels, but don't want 19" wheel ride quality sacrifice.
