MyCarly - Gear Shift Indicator - F22 - Manual

According to MyCarly website they are able to code the Gear Shift Indicator to display the Current gear instead of the shift gear to. - this is a manual

I am hesitant to use MyCarly to code my vehicle as I have read posts of MyCarly bricking some components and requiring a trip to the dealer.

I currently code with BimmerCode.

From research one of the flags that needs to be set is SPA_KOMBISELECT_DISABLE

If MyCarly can do it I assume any of the coding tools should be able to accomplish the same changes.

Any one have any luck getting this done ?

Gear shift indicator didn't work on mine. It would be nice to know what gear I'm in while in 'D' but I guess as it doesn't matter as long as I can see it in 'S' and 'M' modes.

I've used Carly on 3 cars (E92, F22, F10) so far with no issues. The F10 briefly lost some of its original functionality but coding back to its original settings then coding the changes again made everything work.

It does work, at least entirely removing it.

You also need "SPA_CHECKBOX" to aktiv aside from "SPA_KOMBISELECT_DISABLE" to nicht_aktiv

More details see Really no way to disable shift/gear indicator? https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1547942
