Front lip/bumper protector for F22

Hey guys,
I have a new M240 and I'm looking for some kind of front bumper/lip protector so I don't scratch it by accident.
I don't want to pay $500 for a carbon lip.

Does anybody make a cheap black (PU?) type lip for F22?

similar to this.
https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Spl...rsal+front+lip

thx

Does it use existing holes to screw into or will new holes need to be drilled into the bumper?

Oh I know. My buddy has a 335i just ripped his off.

Worth a shot I suppose! Again I'll mount it good but not too good. Hopefully save my bumper if i happen to hit something.

Squirrels are very light and soft (and cuddly!). Try hitting a curb/kerb and get back to us on that.

The lip in the above link is a Kerscher style knock off. Good looking lip. You can see some pictures of the real and fake one on the second page of this thread:

Another option I’ve seen track rats and drifters use before is to cut some plywood to fit after making a cardboard template, sand down the leading edge, and rattle-can it black. Then spend good money on making sure the mounts to the chassis are ridiculously strong. Then you’ll get real aero benefit and look with a splitter so cheap that it’s effectively disposable.
