Those look great! The picture really captures the dynamic properties of the Titanium Black Shadow finish!

Winter? What's that?!

So I've had my v801 wheels for a while now but have been unable to install them because my car is in the shop.

I ordered 18 staggered setup.
I was bored yesterday and it admiring how beautiful the v801 is and decided to weigh it.
I only weighed the smaller 8.5 front wheel.
I was very surprised to see it come in at a touch over 23lbs.
I was expecting from pictures and previous posts by vmr for the 18x8.5 to be around 21-22lbs.

Nice. I'm about to order the VMR 801 19" in Titanium Black for our White M2. Would love to see some more pics.

He had a White M235 with a staggered VMR 710 setup in matte black. We used the OEM tires. The car looked great in comparison to the OEM setup.

Tried to contact you guys several times. Sent over emails here on PM and on your website. Interested in VMR 801's (I think that's their number) but have some fitment questions.
Thanks,
M

Hmm, that is disappointing. Thats about stock wheel weight. VMR quotes lighter weights for this wheels earlier, so this is a bit confusing. Maybe your scale isn't accurate?

I hope so, I'm going to figure out a way to use my digital weight scale for post. I just need to make a stand for the wheel as the scale base isn't big enough to rest the wheel on.

One day I'll get my V801's installed!!!!

It took a long time to get them and by the time I finally did my car had to go in the shop for body work.
It ended up being there a freaking month.

Now that I have my car back all the deals on tires are gone and I dont want to pay full price, LOL.

Once either the Continental Extreme Contact Sport or Michelin Pilot Sport 4s go on sale I will finally be able to mount these beautiful wheels.

I did decide to buy some wheel ceramic coating and see if it helps keep them clean and hopefully harder to scratch.
It sitting in my room and I'll be applying it this weekend.

I'm sure there are plenty of 2 Series out there running our 18" square setups for winter. I still have Gunmetal V701's available as part of our winter special!

I am thinking of running,

(F) 19x8 ET? | 225/35/19
(R) 19x9 ET? | 255/30/19

What should the front/rear ET be?

We recommend 19x8.5 ET35-42 for the front and 19x9.5 ET45 for the rear.
