You'll get cited for it. Any type of blue light on a passenger vehicle is illegal in all 50 states.

To expand upon this... I had amber halos on a few different Mustangs and was pulled over repeatedly. I live in Texas and Amber is LEGAL, but I was still harassed pretty often by officers. The amber was pretty dark and they would fight me on the fact that they were actually red. Despite paperwork from the manufacturer/installer (Oracle) listing the color, I finally received a ticket for it on about my 12th incident. On my court date, the judge ordered the bailiff to walk out to the parking lot with me and make a call on red vs amber. I was able to get a signed letter from the judge citing that they were legal.

Anyways, you will have zero luck getting out of tickets for blue (they are reserved for emergency vehicles only) in my opinion. Likely not worth the headache and I'd consider them "parking lot only" lights for fun. Love the look, though
