Alcantara Steering Wrap with Blue Stitches

Finally, I got it wrapped on my steering wheel~! waited for months~!
I was waiting for my girlfriend to help me out cuz she did it last time on my e92 335i, and she used to live overseas.

We used double stitches to tighten the wrap(may not be necessary), and got rid of the red stitches.

Much cheaper than m performance Alcantara steering wheel with same Alcantara material, and basically the same feeling unless you want flat bottom?? I got it from a friend who is an authorized retailer of the original Italian Alcantara in HongKong

This makes me a bit happier about the handling since this car has a much lighter and inconsistent feeling compare to my last e92, but I do get used to it a bit. Overall the touch feels AMAZING~~!

The error shows up in the dash because I turned on the iDrive while the steering wheel was taken off, then I coded off the error easily with Carly.

Does it make the wheel too wide? I like the standard wheel thickness and I'm wondering how much more to the circumference the cover adds.

it's actually not a cover, it's like a very thin wrap. probably 1mm or 2mm thin. so the size of the steering wheel remains the same. it's just a lot more comfortable to hold and look awesome.

No that's not the same thing.

Those are just regular suede wraps, like the material on our shoes and clothes. The material of mine came a company in Italy, who sells to alcantara to car makers.
