405M Replica Fitment Question

Sorry for asking, but I am an aftermarket wheel noob. I searched and did not find the information I am seeking.

I am considering a set of aftermarket 405M replicas with the following specifications:

Front: 19x8.5 et35
Rear: 19x9.5 et37

Will these offsets fit my 2017 M240i convertible (stock suspension)?

Bonus question: what tire size(s) should I look for?

Thanks.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure those rears would stick out too much and cause rubbing. A lot of people go with 9.5 et 45 for the rear and those have a tad bit of poke, so a 37 would stick out a decent amount.

Head on over to the e90 3 series forum tire section and play around with the wheel and tire calculator there. That should give you a better idea of what different size wheels will do to clearance from the struts and poke.

Front and rear will both fit but you probably can't run wider than 255/30 rear without adding some camber. 235/35 and 225/35 will both fit up front, but the 235's will likely need a fender roll. There is a guy on here running 235/265 MPSS on wheels with similar offsets and widths (same front rear is et40) so it can be done. I'd copy the thread here but can figure out how to do that on the app and it should be easy to find on one of the 19inch wheel threads.
