Hi all,

I've put together a detailed How-To video for installing the M-Performance Interior Trim Kit.

I hope you find this useful!

Awesome thanks for sharing!.. I changed my shift knob a long time ago. removing the gear boot was helpful.

Thank you!

Thanks to Boosted Autos for the 5 piece M Performance interior trim video. I followed everything you suggested and 90 minutes later I have the beautiful new interior I wanted! Well almost, I'm so in love with this dry CF trim that I now HAVE to get the Gear Boot and Shift Knob. Thanks also for the second video - I can't wait to install those ASAP.

I'll probably do the Alcantara brake lever also. I'd like to get the Alcantara arm rest, but my trusty assistant (seen in photo) likes to ride with her head there and she drools a lot.

The only piece that wasn't as easy to remove as yours was my small vent from the assembly. The forth little clip in the corner did not want to detach and I got a little scared I was going to break it, but with a bit more prying, it eventually came out.

Again - thank you SO MUCH. It's unbelievably satisfying to be able to do this yourself and save money. The kit was $688 from Sun Motors BMW Parts. No tax or shipping to CA.

I'm almost sad I don't get to do it again!

great to see another aussie making these helpful videos for the community!

how much did you fork out for the m performance trim kit and which gearshift and boot trim kit matches the CF weave on the rest of the setup?

This is great. Will you be making one for the M-perf CF steering wheel trim as well, by chance?
