Do you have any pics of the car from the side?

Thanks for the heads up. I've been thinking about getting these too, so went ahead and ordered them right now.

I am still not completely sure based on the suspension threads I have read so far if 15mm spacers are needed for stock wheels when dropping the M235i on Dinan springs. Can someone clarify this for me?

Thanks!

If anyone is looking for Dinan Springs with Bump stop kit, I have a brand new set for $375. I'm in the Central PA area. Prefer local deal

I'm running 12.5mm ECS spacers front and rear. Great fit but if I had do over I'd go 15mm up front.

Anyone know if Dinan makes these for 228i or if these would work?

Appreciate the link but don't see any springs for the 228i. I'm guessing the springs will differ from the m235i

I feeling like the only one concerned about warranty here but can you guys chime in on whether you had the springs installed at a Dinan authorized dealer? Or are you not concerned with the warranty? Or can warranty still be obtained thru Dinan even if u install elsewhere? (I didn't think that was the case)

I just would really like to play it safe and not be in a possible scenario where I have squeaks or other noises and whatnot and have to pay to have my suspension worked on.

Thanks

Because 1. I'm not paying 7.8 hours of labor to install springs at a Dinan dealer and (which is Dinan's estimated time to install) 2. If I'm not gonna be able to get warranty then fuck it I'll splurge and go H&R springs with my performance lip on NY roads

And 3. This is all because i hate looking at stock ride height

I negotiated the price (basically letting them know that I knew it wasn't going to take 8 hours). Pretty sure I paid 600$ including alignment (which the alignment is bs since the springs are not settled so doing it at the same time is bs). Also check out the alignment specs they are very close to stock.

You will retain warranty coverage from Dinan even if the install is done at a non-Dinan dealer. The only thing we would not warrant is improper installation so if the installing non-Dinan party effed something up due to a bad installation we wouldn't pay for their mistake whereas a Dinan dealer is essentially vouched for and will be forced to take responsibility for any improper installation.

In regards to the quoted times for suspension goods in particular we are in a bit of a quandary whereas that is concerned as there are established labor times done by BMW and since we in the dealerships we have to fall in line with their labor times as well. Do we always agree with them, no, but we have to play nice and by the rules. You can always negotiate. =)

lots of folks comment on the price of dinan. in the end they stand behind the product. Check out AC Schnitzer prizes... another company that warranties their mods. It's much more expensive. In my experience with Dinan you get what you pay for overall and that is in terms of fit/finish(quality), service and peace of mind.

That's about right for an indie shop. Try to make sure alignment is included.
