Good effort. I am sure the next gen will be far better. The G70 still six years behind the G20. And for me a sedan has to offer decent back seat accommodations. With 2 very tall kids is a must. Close but no cigar. I would take a G20 M340i over the G70 3.3T twice daily and four times on Sunday

Chevy & Ford both stopped making cars, so that's mostly based on trucks and crossovers

Just kidding, M340i is an improvement over F30 no doubt, but no longer stands out in the class, and no manual. I'd probably still go Model 3 or C43 or even Giulia (lease) over G70 and M340i but you have to admit that Genesis is putting out compelling products, no matter how much Hyundai hate people have, they are no longer s***boxes of the 90's and are finally cars one would actually consider or want, Albert Biernmann is transforming the brand for the better.

And before anyone says is because the Accord is made in Marysville, OH truth is Honda has been making Accords on that location since 1988. But as a former Honda owner, the general look/feel, fit/finish and materials on current day Civics and Accords is appalling. They remind me of Nissan Sentra and Altimas from a decade ago. Never owned or driven a Subaru so can't comment there.

The only time Subaru sort of grabbed my attention was back in the 1990s when they still took risks and made this:

Tesla was at the bottom from the 2020 JD Power initial ownership pp/100 survey I read today. BMW was better than Porsche, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar and even Toyota, Honda or Mazda.
https://www.autoblog.com/2020/06/24/...dge-kia-tesla/ Here's the full numbered list from J.D. Power and their scores:

Isn't JD Power a market-research firm that companies pay into, in order to get said research? And only if you pay into the company are you then eligible to receive these awards?
https://jalopnik.com/everything-you-...r-a-1818818969 I've seen mention of this before and have since not given any f***s about them. Have you all seen those God-awful Chevy ads? Lol |

I wonder how our BMW's would hold up being run/operated 20-21 hours a day while never being shut off, driven hard during those 20-21 hours......every single day. |

Exactly but I'm wrong. I've had a Genesis before and it was good but I didn't have it long enough as BMW called me back.
The Genesis brand has come a long way and catching up to the luxury brand pretty quick. I still think the inside looks kinda cheap but the quality of the car as far as driving is pretty good. Not fuel efficient like a BMW but still good. It's like thinking of a Hyundai or Kia. Both brands have made huge strides in innovation and technology. Not the POS they used to be. |

Lets just hope its better than the 2 previous 550i's we had. The wonderful N63 engine put together is a maintenance nightmare!! But I'm hoping the first year ride will be ok.
